Crave café is owned by a collective. If you’re over 60, you’ll understand the hippie potential of this term. If not, it’s like this:
A few of us got together (over food and wine) and decided we wanted to be good neighbours and live in / help create a great neighbourhood. We chipped in and started Crave Collective, a charitable organisation -that means that all of our profits go t

owards the community, and helping destroy poverty of any kind. No extra money goes back to us. What we do get is the better neighbourhood we all want to live in. This seems like a good time to us. One of the basic Cravings of humanity is to connect with each other. We think outstanding fairly traded coffee and engaging conversations in scintillating environs is a brilliant way to connect. And we’d like to thank you for supporting the local community and making this neighbourhood a better place to live, simply by living a little with us.

Also it's Father's Day on Sunday! You can book from 1pm onwards at this point, the morning is full with room for walk ins.
We have some space for big families as well as the little ones. Bring dad in for a treat.

We have the Dadbod burger, MacDaddy Pie, Spicy Bloody Mary complete with celery stick as specials for this weekend only.

Dad will love his new Bod after that burger!

You will loooove the Mac Daddy Pie we have on special for the extended weekend to celebrate father's day. Now obviously we called this Mac Daddy Pie because we are on McDonald st and no other reason!

Our crew have been trying out many different versions to land on this special treat. They suffered to bring you perfection.

Come on in and give it a go!

We also have spicy bloody mary's all weeknd long, to give dad a punch in the mouth as he kicks off his day!

The main fire safety work in Crave is all finished. You can now access all parts of the cafe again.

To all who came in last week, sorry about the noise. It was pretty loud at some points! Thanks for being understanding and gracious.

BIG WEEK - we have a week of improvements for fire safety in Crave. A bunch of walls around the bathroom block are getting extra gib put on and our awesome RSJ beams have to be covered up unfortunately to comply. The builders will be working super fast to get it all done in 5 days. It does mean our bathrooms will be out of action, we have some prestige portaloos in the meantime.

Our upstairs areas including the library and the private rooms are inaccessible for the week as well as the cage and toy box areas. Everything else should be all good.

Should all be finished by Friday, so next weekend will not be impacted
