Hotel Metropol began in 1975 (fully renovated in 2004).

It began as a dream, underpinned by altruism and sound business experience. Our initial property, Hotel Metropol, was the first purpose-built luxurious hotel in Macedonia, and one of the first to be built internationally. A new segment of the hospitality industry was born. Hotel Bellevue was build 1989.(Complete renovation 2007)and Hotel Tourist - 1986 were also designed and built, always with our

customers needs in mind, always with the desire to enhance and support the natural beauty and essence of the land itself. A large reputation for outstanding design and skilled staff has been forged, awards and accolades followed and regional tourism had been taken to new levels. All our properties are surrounded by gardens and trees which produce our highly regarded experience. All house fine collections of art highlighting Metropol's love and knowledge of fine and decorative arts. All have an air of elegance and good living. All seek to support their surrounding regions and most importantly all have been created with an awareness of the environment, with their own water supplies. The owners of Metropol Lake Resort, have created iconic properties and are recognized as leaders in their industry. We have been the setting of major Macedonian corporate planning, and of glamorous and happy Weddings, romantic dinners and productive conferences. We believe it is all about the experience.
