We’re closed this Friday in Strandhill as our head chef Fionntan Ganley gets married to his lovely bride to be Claire🤵👰

Fiontann has been with us for the majority of Stoked’s existence and is a huge part of who we are.

We’ve lost count of how many times you guys have tasted one of Fiontann’s specials and demanded it be put on the menu full-time!

A brilliant chef and an even better person.
We’re delighted to celebrate with him this Friday and wish him and Claire a lifetime of happiness. ❤️

Just a little heads up — we’re back to our winter hours here in Strandhill 💚

Thursday – Sunday

We’re closed this Sunday for our staff party — we’re off to check out Stoked Bundoran 💃🏻🕺🏾

We’ll also be closed November 2nd – 26th, before keeping er lit right through Christmas 🎄🔥

Then a small closure in January before we’re back at it.

Same as last year, we’re keeping the Stoke alive all year round, thanks to our amazing loyal customers and our hard-working staff. 💚

A great evening spent in Sligo town celebrating new book launch, , at

Seamus has brilliantly captured some of Sligo’s history and folklore in his first ever book, and it was great to hear him speak about it.

It’s been a while since I walked through the town, so I took the opportunity to have a delicious pizza in **e -one of the best in the country - followed by a belter of a pint of the black stuff in .bar.

Sligo has so much to offer, and it was genuinely satisfying to hear Seamus educate us all on some of the incredible history of this county.

It’s a town and county surrounded by incredible history, culture and natural beauty.

This hasn’t much to do with our restaurant, other than the fact that we’re proud to be a small part of the County.

Anyways… up Sligo, and well done ! 💪💚

We are looking for a kitchen porter to join our squad .
Great pay, tips and the chance to be part of a sound team.
Full time position available from mid August through the winter but we’d like to work our new KP into the fold while current legend Ben is still here.
We’ve had many great porters here through the years.
David here only dabbled in the KP game but he looks happy and I’ve lots of pictures of him. Getting stuck wherever needed and enjoying staff food many years after hanging up the apron .
He met the girl of his dreams here, got married here and now owns his own business. 👧🏄🏻‍♂️👶
Maybe his brief stint on the dishes contributed to this fantastic life of David, maybe it didn’t but hel give us a good reference im sure 😅

Smooth operator Dermot O Leary came to see us recently in Strandhill .
We really enjoyed hanging with himself and the crew.
Strandhill and Sligo was the last stop on their great tour along the Wild Atlantic Way
Very humbled to have all these legends visiting both restaurants over the last while 🙏

So much good food consistently coming out of this kitchen and great service to match .
First time I’ve managed to come down to Strandhill for a service in weeks and sometimes it takes stepping away to realise how good the guys and girls here are and how much of a well oiled machine this Restaurant has become .
The old rumours were swirling around that Strandhill Stoked may close with Bundoran opening but as you can see, that ain’t happening.
We are only getting stronger 💪
