Eala Bhán is located in the heart of Sligo Town on a beautiful stretch of the Garavogue River. The décor here has a cool urban brasserie bistro feel with dark wood floors, subtle lighting, well-spaced tables, and it is a place in which there is always a buzz. The food is classic with a contemporary twist and offers everything you could possibly want. All of the local seafood is hand-selected and a

rtistically prepared to perfection. All of the steak cuts stand tall with the superb flavour of aged beef that is cooked to your liking. Produce is organic whenever possible, sourced from local suppliers and direct form local producers. The name Eala Bhán is gaelic for “White Swan”. These beautiful birds can often be seen from the two main windows of the restaurant and they often frequent the Garavogue River that runs alongside the restaurant.

Well folks some serious exciting news coming up for us here at Eala Bhán and Sligo 🎉

We had the honour of welcoming for filming as part of Taste of Ireland Season 2.

We had some brilliant fun ,laughs and craic while showcasing Sligo, it’s amazing ingredients , people and businesses that make our town stand out as a culinarily hotspot in the country of Ireland and the .

It was a pleasure to work alongside Dermot O’learly. What a great guy with an incredible passion and knowledge for food and Ireland 🇮🇪an all round great person and character.

There are no strangers here, Only friends you haven’t yet met.

It was truly special as Dermot and his team, filmed with Anthony here in Eala bhán and Sligo Town . Having the opportunity to do this means so much as a passionate Sligoian who has pushed over the years to make sligo as a gastronomic culinary region of ireland.

This is a very popular television series will attract more than 3.3 million viewers .To showcase our restaurant Sligo its characters and independent businesses means everything to me.
