Comedy Club 1st Thursday of month Originally a Mitchells & Butlers Off-Licence it was granted Public House Status in 1958 to coincide with local house building regeneration in the area. The first Landlord was an ex-soldier who served with The Chindit Regiment in Burma during World War II and he named the pub after his comrades 'The Chindits'. We pride ourselves on serving only the best-kept cask ales and can boast we are the only Public House in Wolverhampton to be awarded the Cask Marque consecutively for over 20 years. The pub is popular on match days and welcome all. We have up to six hands pulled cask beers which are constantly changing so keep an eye on our Facebook for what's on and for the up and coming beers in the cellar.
