🍻 WE ARE RALLYING BEHIND ONE OF OUR OWN! 🍻
​We are incredibly proud to announce that one of our amazing locals, Jacky, is taking on the challenge of a lifetime! 🏔️✨
​From August 2nd to 11th, Jacky will be swapping her usual spot at the bar for the grueling wilds of Tanzania. She is tackling an intense, 8-day trek up Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route to reach the roof of Africa—standing at a massive 5,895 meters above sea level! 🥾⛰️
​Jacky is completely self-funding the trip, which means 100% of every single penny raised goes straight to two fantastic causes close to all of our hearts:
​🏍️ Midland Freewheelers (Blood Bikers): The volunteer heroes who provide emergency out-of-hours transport for life-saving blood and medical supplies to our local NHS hospitals.
🎗️ Sarcoma UK: A vital charity funding crucial research and support for patients facing rare and aggressive cancers.
​As a pub, we are backing Jacky all the way, and we need your help to get her across the finish line! Over the coming months, we’ll be hosting some fundraising events right here at the pub to help her smash her target. 🎯
