Who doesn’t love a cheap pint on a Sunday?

As regular followers will know, on Monday the great replacement of the bar begins, and we will be changing all of our draught products.

So for today only, and while stocks last, all of our draught drinks are £3.50 a pint to you, our loyal followers!

Yes, you read that correctly, £3.50 a pint!

Mention this post at the bar to get your discounted price!

And we know how people love to steal glasses from pubs, well today, there is no need for any guilt in doing so.

We have literally hundreds of different glasses, all available for free. They’ll be outside the pub for anyone to help themselves to until they’ve all gone! Absolutely free, gratis, no charge whatsoever!

Introducing our new and improved daytime roll of the dice game at The Greyhound Inn, Bothel.

Tuesdays to Fridays, pay for your meal before 5pm and roll the giant dice. If you roll a 6, your entire food bill is on us, free, gratis, no charge, just pay for your drinks!

No excuse not to order a dessert now. Wouldn’t you feel silly if you don’t order one and then end up getting your whole meal for free?

And don’t forget, we still have Happy Tuesdays, with all draught pints at £4.50, all soft drinks at £2.50 or less, and any large glass of wine for £5.50.

Wednesday is Pizza night, Thursday is Pie night, and of course we have the ever popular fishy Friday. Get a drink included with your meal, see below for the full details.

We know a lot of the village has been without power this morning, and it’s looking like it could be an all day thing!

But fear not, we have power, heating and WiFi, and we are open all day, so if you need a place to do some work, are sick and tired of staring at the wallls, and need your doomscrolling time, or just need somewhere warm to wait it out, feel free to come and use the pub.

There’s no obligation to buy anything, just get yourself in the warm if you need to, but it is Happy Tuesday, and it’s £4 a pint, £5 for a large glass of wine and £2.50 or less for any soft drink, so why wouldn’t you?

Stay safe out there, it’s pretty wild, but our doors are open if you need us.

We would like to wish all of our friends and family, customers and staff a very Happy New Year, welcome to 2026!

What a night last night was. If you were there, thank you for joining us, everyone seemed to have an amazing night. And thanks to the great Band “The Tomorrow” for an amazing gig and helping us ring in the New Year.

We are open all day today until midnight and serving food all day until 8.30pm tonight, so come and join us for a meal or a drink (or both!)

It’s official. We have now confirmed “The Tomorrow” for our New Years Eve party at The Greyhound Inn, Bothel.

It’s free for everyone, and a free buffet will also be served around 11pm, so book your babysitters now and confirm your plans to ring in 2026!

We also have a special offer to prebook a chilled bottle of Moet & Chandon Champagne for the evening for only £55.00 (usually £64.95). You’ll need to order and pay before December 20th to get it at this price, so we can make sure we have enough stock for everyone!

As always, we’re expecting a busy night, so make sure you get here early!
