A little look back at the FA Vase Winner Tour Bus Parade, from 2025!

There’s nothing quite like pulling up a chair, ordering your favourite drink and watching the High Street come alive. We had front-row seats to all the action, and what an atmosphere it was.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a brilliant day. This is Whitstable doing what Whitstable does best: the whole community coming together and having a proper good time. 🍺❤️

What a game, and congratulations to Arsenal🏆⚽

The first silverware of the season has been decided, and what a way to welcome football back. There were goals, drama, a few questionable refereeing decisions, and plenty of expert analysis from everyone watching at the bar.

An impressive performance on the pitch, matched only by those who secured a good seat, kept the pints moving and stayed until the final whistle.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Community Shield. The Premier League kicks off this weekend, so rest your voices, prepare your predictions and get ready to do it all again.

Last Sunday, we warned you that the backlash was coming. Now it’s time for the truth.

The Schnitzel Backlash: the real story, told by the real staff of The Ship.

We introduced Schnitzel Sunday. Roland was delighted. The team had… concerns. What followed divided the pub, tested friendships and changed Sunday lunchtime forever.

Watch as those closest to the story speak out for the very first time. Please understand that this is a mockumentary, the staff are real, but the outrage may have been slightly exaggerated. 😂

Fortunately, the schnitzel survived, and it’s being served today alongside Arsenal v Manchester City at 3pm.

Come for the football. Stay for the schnitzel. Decide for yourself which side you’re on.

The world cup feels like it happened months ago, but do not fear, football is coming back to your screens.

This Sunday at 3pm FA community.

This does mean the meat raffle will be called at 2.50pm this week.

We also can't do a football post without saying well done to on their win last weekend.
