The New Inn was the first purpose-built pub in Whitstable, constructed in the 1830s when the railway opened. The surrounding terraces housed dockers, railway workers and fishermen and the pub continues to this day to be a down-to-earth, unpretentious place with a friendly atmosphere. With an excellent reputation for beer and a well stocked back bar, the New Inn is one of the last bastions of the b

ack street pub in the town. A relaxed atmoshere, with pool table, darts and a top selection of board games. We love our music at the New Inn, and have a jukebox that is free every Friday!! We often have live bands, free pool on Tuesday nights. we offer a fantastic selection of Stone Baked Pizzas throughout the day. Set back from the hustle of the Quay and Harbour street, experience a truly unique vibe and atmosphere...long may the humble back street pub remain! We look forward to seeing you.
