On 1 July, the hospitality industry is coming together to launch ‘VAT’s the Problem’ — the united sector campaign calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Because when hospitality businesses close, communities lose far more than places to eat and drink — they lose connection, opportunity
and local identity.

This campaign is about everyone: Our customers, our team and our suppliers and producers.

Celeb chef Tom Kerridge is spearheading this nationwide movement, and we are asking the whole of hospitality to stand together to say Vat’s The Problem – 10% is fair for hospitality.

Countries including Spain, Italy, France, Ireland and Germany know how important hospitality is and they know it pays too much tax. That’s why they already support hospitality withlower VAT rates usually 10% or lower.

Please help keep our communities vibrant with thriving local hospitality businesses 🙂

It’s our Super Tuesday deal night today with any 2 pizzas for £22. We cater for everybody - our Sierra pizza is a vegan option but is also fab with cheese as a straight veggie choice.

So sorry everyone - feelings about this on our door note. Hopefully our water supply will be resolved by tomorrow. Feel for you all. Let’s hope for a fantastic weekend though!

With no running water on Whitstable High Street we had no alternative but to shut earlier this evening - during half term and a heatweave. Our apologies for those needing fresh craft pizza this evening! Hopefully we'll back open again tomorrow from 4pm
