A cosy, stylish and lively 19th century refurbished Island inn, find us in the little fishing village of Uig, situated in the north of the Isle of Skye on the incredible Trotternish Peninsula. We are centrally positioned on the southwest-facing Uig Bay, with a fantastic view towards Waternish. We thoroughly look forward to welcoming you to the Ferry Inn and our special (and cosy) corner of Skye -

Open fro drinks from 5-10pm Tues-Sat. Enjoy a drink in the Ferry Inn bar, relaxing by the double sided stove or enjoying the view over the bay in our Drinks Garden. Choose from our gin or whisky collections, cocktail menu, local ales and carefully selected wines. Dining at The Ferry Inn:

Our ethos is to deliver beautifully cooked, seasonal and local produce in a relaxed and stylish setting. We have very limited tables available for non-residents. We enjoy making the most of fantastic meats, seafood and lovely fresh produce from Scottish vegetable and salad producers. From our charcuterie and cheese to our shellfish, we source from a fabulous range of local and regional producers, and proudly showcase this on our menu. Our menu this year is built on a small plates & sharing basis as apposed to a traditional menu set up; small and seasonal it has been built to enjoy as a whole table experience. Our Rooms:

The Ferry Inn has three beautiful king size ensuite bedrooms, designed for both a luxurious and comfortable stay. Each bedroom is individually styled with boutique eclectic furniture and accessories, with either bay or woodland garden views. Please go to our website for all room information. Take 2 for our opening day ! With a brilliant forecast for Sunday 🎉 Come and join us in Uig for some paddlesports in the bay, or meet us at Whitewave for some afternoon archery 🏹 and socialising 🥳 anyone age 5+ can get involved!

Parking at the old pier is very limited - we recommend parking elsewhere in Uig and walking! We will take bookings beforehand by email, with first come, first served on the day. 🤘

Please come wearing appropriate layers for the weather and shoes that can get wet.. we will provide all safety equipment. 🌀

All activities are weather dependent.. we will keep people updated! 🤞

Back again from Tuesday, there is still a couple of spaces available for dinner next week & for the week of the 21st. Tables for week of 28th April open for booking at 12pm this coming Tuesday… 💙🍴

We’re fully booked for food our opening weekend, but our bar is open the usual Friday 3 April & Saturday 4 from 5pm, and for Easter Sunday 5 April for 12-3pm. No need to book for drinks, just rock up . Look forward to seeing you this weekend🥕🐥🍾
