WE’RE HIRING – Front of House Staff
The Old School Restaurant is looking for someone to join our front of house team.
We are a fast-paced, busy Skye restaurant, working with local and fresh produce, delivering high-quality service in a demanding environment.
This role will mainly involve:
• Serving customers
• Running food & drinks
• Taking orders
• General front of house responsibilities
• Helping maintain a clean and organised workspace
What to expect:
• Busy service: 100+ covers in the evening, 30–60 at lunch
• Working closely with both kitchen and bar teams
• A fast-paced but rewarding environment
What we offer:
• Starting wage at £12.50ph with room to increase depending on experience
• 36+ hours available
• Both part-time and full-time positions available
• Additional hours available for anyone willing to help with cleaning or occasional KP shifts
• Tips can reach £400+ per month
• Accommodation available for the right candidate
• Immediate start available

The Old School Restaurant is looking for someone to join our kitchen team.
We are a fast-paced, busy Skye restaurant, working with local and fresh produce, delivering high-quality food in a demanding environment.
This is a flexible kitchen role, with responsibilities depending on experience and how you fit within the team.
What to expect:
• Busy service: 100+ covers in the evening, 30–60 at lunch
• Prep for daily service
• Working alongside chefs during service
• Mainly working on starters and desserts section
• Occasionally working on the fish/fryer section
What we offer:
• £13.50 – £14.20 per hour depending on experience
• Full-time position (5 days per week) with the option for extra hours
• Tips can reach £500+ per month on full-time hours
• Accommodation available for the right candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
• Works well under pressure
• Has a strong work ethic
• Is happy to get stuck into all areas of the kitchen
• Experience is a bonus, but attitude matters more
