First harvest of the Tokyo turnips which have a sweet, creamy & peppery flavour. On the menu Poached with Bagna Cauda and Crab,Tokyo turnip & Carasello Salad all weekend.

The new tunnel is producing exceptionally good chives, flower heads and other herbs. This week’s boxes are ready to be delivered to our kitchens just 2 miles from the garden ready for a busy weekend ahead.

We look forward to seeing you over the holiday!

News from the Lypiatt kitchen garden team this week….
We have welcomed some much needed rain this week & started to flip the tunnels to Summer crops starting with 4 varieties of tomatoes. 🍅
We have had our first harvest of Tokyo turnips and herbs in abundance, oregano, thyme & sage.
Coming soon to the kitchens, onions, beets, radish, pea shoots & salad.



On the menu this weekend …..Salt cod fritters & aioliBorlotti, vesuvio tomatoes, marjoram Asparagus, courgette & Yorkshi...
