When your bakery pastry chef goes on holiday at Janna's Bakery and leaves me to cause chaos in the kitchen… 🙈😂

I may have made a little mess while he’s away 👀😂 but TAVA’s tiramisu got a makeover in the process! 🍓🌿

Same tiramisu, same recipe, same delicious taste — just dressed up a little differently. 🤎

Not bad for the boss covering pastry duty, eh? 😂👩🏻‍🍳

Some things mean more than any award or achievement… 🥺❤️

Today was Hellen’s last day with us at Tava before heading back home, and she left this letter for me. I honestly couldn’t read it without getting emotional.

When you run a business, you’re always worrying about a million things — customers, standards, staff, whether you’re doing enough or getting things right. Then you receive something like this and realise that, somewhere along the way, you’ve managed to make a difference to someone. ❤️

Hellen, thank you for all your hard work, your kindness, your loyalty and everything you brought to our team. I’m so proud to have had you as part of our TAVA family, but even more grateful to have got to know the wonderful person you are.

You will be very missed. 🥺❤️ Wishing you all the happiness and success in the world for whatever comes next. Our door will always be open for you. ❤️

This one is going straight into my keepsake box. 🥺❤️

I actually can’t quite believe this one 🥹❤️

TAVA is a finalist for Turkish Restaurant of the Year at The Scottish Restaurant Awards 2026! 🏆

We only opened our doors in February… and just six months later, seeing Tava’s name on this list honestly feels a little unreal. 🥹

So proud of what we’ve created, so proud of our amazing team, and incredibly grateful to every single person who has walked through our doors and supported us from day one. ❤️

Whatever happens in October, just being named a finalist across Scotland already means so much to us.
