We’re well known for our Breakfast options, but we also have many deliciously tasty Lunch options. This is a Highlander’s Burger, with a prime 170g Angus beef patty, bacon, caramelised onion, salad, and burger sauce. All burgers are served with crispy chips and creamy coleslaw. Our food is cooked to order, thus prepared fresh and on demand. We’re also a cafe that will not compromise from using the best ingredients: therefore we rely and trust that you will taste the difference. 😉

Tomorrow it’s Hogmanay! That’s it folks, another year has wooshed by, and the team at Mato’s wish you and your loved ones a Happy New Year for 2026. We hope that you’ve had a pleasant year, and that you are looking forward for this next new year. We extend our gratitude to the many kind and cheerful guests we have hosted this year, and for the many friendships we have made along the way. Cheers 🥂 to another year. Please observe that our coffee shop will be closed between 30 December and 14 January, as our team take a break. Once more, we extend our Happy Hogmanay wishes.

That’s it now, not long left until we welcome 2025. 2024 was a big year for us as we opened our doors to you at Mato’s; and we’re very thankful for the memories that we have made and the many good people we have met over this year. As we now wave goodbye to 2024, we embrace with open arms 2025 and all the newer memories and moments that are expectant on us. Thank you for welcoming and embracing us in 2024, and see you in 2025! 🎆

Please also note: In the new year, we are taking some time off to recharge some energy. So our cafe will be closed on and until the 10th of January 2025. Once again, Happy New Year 🥳, and our best wishes from us at Mato’s to you and your family.
