🎄🎅🏽🤶 Janet, Janice, Angela, Brian, Mary, Jean, Lorna, Katie and I headed along to the Annick Centre on Christmas Day to dish up the free 3 course meals again this year. We hope everyone enjoyed their lunch/dinner and the little extras in the bags.
The true spirit of Christmas is giving and wow, what a fantastic community we have!!!
We would like to thank the main organisers Janet & Janice (from Potters Church and the Larder) and Angela & Brian (from Angela’s Hair Technique) for working tirelessly. From collecting orders, gifts & donations to compiling numbers, wrapping gifts, bagging orders, buying vouchers and route planning for the meal delivery, Janet and Janice had no easy task! Brian for assisting in the above, designing the posters, helping Angela and trying to keep us all in check with his superb organisation on the day. Massive thanks to Angela for making all the soups, vegetables and trifles again this Christmas. I’m sure you were sick of the sight of brussel sprouts, carrots and parsnips 🙈👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 for our Fab Four!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Special thanks to Mrs Margaret Brown for making and donating the lovely Christmas cake, tablet and shortbread again this year.
To Mary Hobkirk, Lorna Campbell and Katie Burns for coming along to help dish up, pack the meal bags and even deliver.
