Food Works Sharrow is a zero waste café run by Food Works Sheffield. The Food Works Kitchen is all about upcycling food.

Upcycling reduces waste and extends the life of ingredients. We showcase how tasty and nutritious meals can be produced using surplus ingredients and locally grown produce. Our chefs and volunteers cook and bake everything from scratch in our kitchens with zero waste. Even our spent coffee grounds are freshly baked into delicious cookies! Upcycling food means we can use ingredients to nourish people in the healthiest and most enjoyable way. Hot meals, barista coffees, cakes and pastries are available daily. Enjoy in our community space, or takeaway by bringing your own container or cup. Our freshly frozen ready meals are available at all of our Food Hubs. You can also subscribe to our meals collection service to help support our environmental and social impact.

We still have a few spots left for next Monday’s vegan baking workshop. If you’ve ever ended the week with a sad-looking courgette or a brown banana, this is the session for you.

Stop relying on expensive, processed egg-replacers and learn how to use fresh produce to create the moistest muffins and richest cakes you’ve ever tasted.

Not vegan? It really doesn't matter. The workshop will help you:

✨ Save money by using what you have.
✨ Sneak some goodness into your kids' snacks (or your own!).
✨ Learn a new skill in a relaxed, friendly kitchen.

Don’t let your kitchen curiosity go to waste - come bake something amazing with us!

Monday 11 May - 6pm to 7:30pm at Food Works Sharrow
