🎃👻 HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM THE FIRST & LAST INN! 🕯️🖤

With a history dating back to the 17th century, our old inn has seen a thing or two over the years… and not all of Cornwall’s stories are for the faint-hearted! 👀

Back in the days of smuggling, these parts were full of secretive goings-on, with tales of contraband brandy, silk and tea making their way ashore under the cover of darkness. 🥃🌊

And then there’s the local legend of Annie’s Well, said to have connections to hidden passages and secret smuggling routes… just the sort of story to send a shiver down your spine! 🕯️

So, if you hear a strange creak or feel a mysterious chill this Halloween, it might just be the Cornish wind… or perhaps something a little more spooky! 👻😉

❤️ WE’VE SMASHED £14,000! WHAT A COMMUNITY! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s pub quiz in support of Young Farmers! 🚜🧠

What a brilliant turnout, and together we raised a whopping £171. 👏

But there’s even more to celebrate… thanks to your continued support, we’ve now smashed our £14,000 fundraising target for our local community! 🎉🙌

From quiz nights to the many local causes we’ve supported along the way, this milestone belongs to all of you who turn up, join in and help us make a difference.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of such a generous community. Thank you for making our Sunday quizzes about so much more than just the questions!
