We hope that you are all safe after an eventful few days 💚

We are open today from 10am - 2pm for coffee, hot chocolate & cake.

If you are still without power we are happy to help, come by and we will do what we can, if you are without electricity, bring your devices to charge and grab a cup of tea on us 🫶

The storm last night has caused significant damage to surrounding areas, including blockages to main roads into and out of Penzance, St Just and Pendeen.

School closures, power outages and delivery access is also causing problems.

Because of these issues we have decided to close today for the safety of our staff and guests.

The building here will be assessed at first light and we will update once we've got a clearer picture.

It might be cold out, but we're still here serving coffee, hot chocolate and cakes 7 days a week 💚

We've reduced our opening times slightly for the rest of January and are open 10am - 2pm each day.

Be sure to keep an eye on the MET Office for weather warnings if you are planning to travel, particularly the winds speeds 🫶

Not long now and we will be welcoming in the longer and warmer days!

❄️ W I N T E R A T T H E C O U N T H O U S E ❄️

It's that time of year again when the wind plays havoc with our opening here at the Botallack Count House 🌬️

We're still open 7 days a week, 10am - 3pm (last orders at 2.45pm) UNLESS the wind speeds or gusts are over 50 mph (according to the MET Office)

Unfortunately, the forecast today is just that (over 50 mph) so we will be closed here at Botallack today (Tuesday 11th)

These procedures have been out in place to keep people safe when visiting, the Crown Mines are perched (literally) on the cliff edge, paired with wild gusty winds it's not destined to be a good mix.

We will always try to get word out on our socials channels regarding closure, but if in doubt you can call us on 788864 before travelling to us to be sure 💛

What a beautiful day it's been, but tomorrow (Sunday 23rd) is looking less so.

Due to forecast high winds we will be closed at Botallack 💚

In more positive news, we will resume our Summer opening hours from March 1st, giving you an extra hour to have a stroll along the coast and grab a coffee & cake 😍

After a few days of wind battering, we are back open today!

Swing by between 10am and 3pm for coffee & cake 💚

You might have noticed our new logo set across our Count House brand 😍

We're aiming to make our brand more identifiable for each unique location, whilst not moving away from our core logo.

We're really happy with the green for Botallack, symbolising the beautiful landscape surrounding the Count House here 💚

Due to forecast high winds later this morning and into this afternoon here at Botallack, we will remain closed today (Wednesday 29th)

The forecast is much better for tomorrow so hopefully we will be back open 🤞
