Things have been pretty busy recently. Working with good people, good coffee, and good vibes. At the shop, out of the shop. I am always doing coffee stuff.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had to can any events for now. Slupfest Leeds, Cafe Culture Show. Ni won't be able to make any of them. I went from working part-time to full-time so all my plans have changed until I am settled.

There's a lot going on with the Roest arriving, more cuppings, and things like that, but it's not for me to share and discuss. We will share all the events in good time.

I have been testing the YEOYU 여유. it is a fun brewer. I have had some really interesting coffees from it. I don't recommend Kalita papers for it, however.

The brewer has already made at least 15 brews. So it has surpassed the Varia Flo and Hario Flow already. They are good ornaments. The Yeoyo has a better gasket than the Varia, and a better middle piece than the Hario. The build quality is solid so far.

It comes with a base for your carafe, or it fits on a Kinto carafes perfectly. I will try it with some more papers. I think it will creep into my regular rotation. Along with the Orea 01, and Hario Neo, and a couple of other brewers I use.

Thanks for letting me try the brewer out. I will give people a go of it at the next Slurps Up UK & Ire in Manchester. Many people's opinions are better than my own.

We revisited the Ecuador Farmer's Collection this week. It was a really interesting set of coffees and we wanted to make the most of it.

grouped the coffees together for an educational session on the varietals, processes, growing areas within Ecuador, etc. It was quite an advanced session, but we can't just taste coffees for fun all the time.

Thanks to everyone who was out tasting. We know it was not the best week for the event. People are everywhere, on holiday, etc. However, we're pretty pushed for time at the moment. Silly season is fast approaching!

Here are some coffees from the home set up. It's been doing alright, espresso has been decent. Milkies have been fun. This machine and grinder are capable of pulling some pretty sweet espressos. I haven't bothered with superlight roasts, but it has pulled some really good light roast espresso.

I had a few messages asking it I could make a guide for these types of machines, maybe when I have more experience with it and I've learn all the quirks. I'm only up to about 30 coffees at the moment.
