Today we’re celebrating our Dad/Husband/Son in Law/ Work colleague/Friend Angus’ Birthday. It’s an especially important one as recently Angus received the devastating news he has stage 4 advance prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men, 1 in 8 being diagnosed, rising to 1 in 4 for black men, yet a simple blood test & early detection can lead to really positive outcomes. Incredibly there remains no national screening programme.
To raise awareness & vital funds for research & treatment some of our team are taking part in the March for Men in Battersea next month & in the hope of rating as much money as possible we will be adding an optional £1 to each bill up to the walk on June 13th. If you would prefer to opt out please let us know. Cancer affects us all in so many ways, thank you for your support during this difficult time 🩵https://marchformen.prostatecanceruk.org/teams/bakehouse-to-battersea
