Buongiorno 😎 Ponty!

New week, new specials board, and the kitchen has gone all in. Leading the way is the 🍕 Pizza 🐷 Maiale: Italian sausage, ham, meatballs and pepperoni on a crust fresh out of the oven. Four toppings, one pizza, zero regrets.

Also on the board this week:
🍝 Tagliatelle Salmone, smoked salmon in a creamy wild mushroom sauce
🍝 Pesto Pasta with homemade pesto, fresh mozzarella and crispy Parma ham
🍕 Pizza 🇮🇹 Ivano with garlic butter base, gorgonzola, goats cheese, onion, walnuts, rocket and hot honey

The Italian who runs our socials would like it noted that his pizza is still on the board. We told him the Maiale is getting the spotlight this week. He is coping.

Doors pen at 12, so join us for lunch or tea, or if the sofa is winning tonight, give us a call or order online for delivery.

We had a little photoshoot this afternoon for our online delivery and collection app which could have meant wasting some food but thankfully these lovely lads popped in for a pizza and were only too happy to take care of any potential wastage. Life is all about timing.

Shwmae Ponty!

The new specials board is up, and two dishes are already causing arguments in the kitchen.

Crab and lobster ravioli in a prawn bisque sauce. Rich, silky and very hard to share.

Or our creamy spaghetti carbonara, finished with fresh parsley and twirled up the way it should be.

Also on the board this week:
King prawns in white w**e and garlic
Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and smoked salmon
Pasta pesto with mozzarella and crispy Parma ham

And of course Pizza Ivano: garlic butter base, gorgonzola, goats cheese, onion, walnuts, rocket and hot honey. The Italian who runs our socials would like to point out that it is on the board again. He is not saying anything. He is just saying.

Blue sky, sunshine, and a lunch break that deserves better than a meal deal from the garage.

This is our Baciata. Bread we bake ourselves, filled with pecorino, black olive tapenade, ham and rocket, with a proper pile of chips on the side. All for £7.50.

Fancy a cold drink or a gelato with it? That makes it £9.95.

Not in a sandwich mood? Swap it for the Insalatona, the fish and potato cake, or the Mezzaluna with smoked cheese and roasted peppers.

Monday to Friday, 12pm until 3pm. Bring a colleague and make the most of the sunshine while it lasts.

Shwmae Ponty! ☀️

New week, new specials and this one has something we have not had on the board before.

The Panino Mortadella. This is the one we are most excited about this week. Mortadella, bufala mozzarella and pistachio pesto, served with fries. Three ingredients that have absolutely no business being this good together. It is Italian street food done properly and it is on the board right now.

Alongside that we have a Pasta Pesto with homemade pesto, mozzarella and crispy Parma ham, a Spaghetti Carbonara done the proper way, and the Pizza Ivano holding its usual spot on the board.

Come in and try something different today.
