Neapolitan Pizza with Loaded Dough in the Courtyard, 6-9pm games in the Bar and West Wales indie beers and Barti rum flowing with DJ/Producer Justin Stride on the decks 6-10pm - the perfect way to round off the Bank Holiday weekend and ease into the new month ahead!

Pembrokeshire’s finest taco pop-up .streetfood is bringing the good stuff with vibrant, flavour-packed ‘slicker than yo average tacos’ from 2pm!

Then from 6–10pm, Vinyl DJ takes over the soundtrack with soul, funk, house, afro beats and jazz - basically, the sound of a West Wales summer!

SOLD OUT! 🔥 The response to Matty’s BBQ supper club has been incredible with all availability now officially snapped up!

We now look forward to welcoming everyone who booked for this seriously special evening at the Bunch.

This is Matty O'Brien. He sells amazing barbecue food out of his Penarth house, and it's so popular that he gets booked up for months at a time.🔥🥩🥓 Now, foodies will have a chance to try his food at a Pontypridd pub.

Unlike his usual events, you'll know the menu in advance. The four-course tasting menu features smoked caramel pork belly, oak-smoked beef short rib, and charred pineapple with coconut and burnt lime. 🐖🍍🤤 Across the four courses, Matty will bring each dish to life through his stories, inspirations, techniques and the flavours that have shaped his journey.

Brecon's Hills Burgers, known for their UK-wide customer pull, will also settle in with favourites like the gravy and chips burger, buttermilk chicken and specials like crispy shredded beef and Duck a l'orange.🍔

Get up close and personal with Matty O’Brien, one of the UK’s most engaging BBQ pitmasters as he brings his Chop Shop to the Bunch for one seriously special BBQ supper club.

Across four vibrant courses Matty will be right there with you, bringing each dish to life through his stories, inspirations, techniques and the flavours that have shaped his journey.

You can look forward to an alchemy of fire, smoke, big flavours and plenty of personality in his four-course tasting caramel pork belly, oak-smoked beef short rib, and charred pineapple with coconut and burnt lime.

To complement the menu, our Cwrw Otley collaboration with Matty will be pouring across our nine handpulls and five keg taps, alongside an extensive range of handcrafted cocktails and no-alcohol alternatives. At 4.2%, Matty’s ‘Open Range’ delivers all the rich malt, caramel hop character you’d expect from a true American Amber

The supper club rolls into an evening with Miss Jones bringing her vintage-style sound of country, celtic and pop to the Bunch alongside Dan & Gina on mandocello, guitar and fiddle.

NOTE Bunch reservations will also be available separately on the night in the bar but do not include a place at Matty’s BBQ supper club. Only bookings confirmed through Matty’s specific booking link guarantees a place at Matty’s experience.

A quick heads up! 👋 only walk-in’s for drinks now as our HILLS x Barti Spiced Rum collab from 2–9pm today has proved seriously popular, with all tables snapped up!

So as bookings are full, we’re unable to take walk-ins - so best not to head down without a booking as we don’t want anyone to be disappointed.

If you’ve booked, we’ll keep keeping you updated throughout the day via Stories and posts. The bar is well stocked though so if you’re hoping to catch Tears for Beers - you won’t be disappointed!
