A celebration of independent beer from the other side of the country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This weekend, we’re taking a trip West - without leaving the bar.

We’ve brought together five independent West Wales breweries, spanning the coast from Swansea to Tenby and across the Pembrokeshire countryside with a mix of cask and keg showcasing just how diverse Welsh brewing has become.

TENBY BREWING CO • TENBY
Brewing since 2015, with a focus on flavour, quality ingredients and experimentation. From crisp lagers and pale ales to hop-forward IPAs - modern Pembrokeshire brewing at its finest.

HARBWR • TENBY HARBOUR
Brewing in a converted 18th-century warehouse above Tenby Harbour since 2015. Traditional British brewing meets modern styles and all inspired by Tenby’s maritime heritage.

MUMBLES BREWERY • SWANSEA
Established in 2011 producing approachable, characterful beers with a strong Swansea identity. From easy-drinking lagers to hoppy beers.

BLUESTONE BREWING CO • PRESELI HILLS
Family-run brewery on a working Pembrokeshire farm, making handcrafted beers across a broad range of styles.Sustainability is built in - from solar power and their own well to reusing brewing by-products.

Our live music & workshop diary is looking GOOOOD! 🎶🧶

We’ve got a great few months ahead at The Bunch starting with a big Bank Holiday weekend, then Cask Ale Week, Oktoberfest, Halloween, Beaujolais & Cheese Day… and plenty more in between.

🎶 Live music - from DJs and acoustic sets to blues, jazz, soul and country.

🧶 Workshops & activities return after a summer break, with everything from mixed-ability crochet and macramé to creative florals, book club and Sip & Scent sessions.

🎶All our live music events are free, but we recommend booking a space where possible to guarantee your table 😉

On Saturday September 5th, Pontypridd is all set for a truly Grand Day Out indeed as Wallace & Gromit - A Grand Day Out LIVE! comes to Capel Y Bont, as part of Pontypridd Brass Band Festival

Join us there, for music from “The Incredibles”, “Toy Story”, “How To Train Your Dragon”, plus the full score with LIVE screening of Aardman’s Wallace & Gromit classic “A Grand Day Out”, all performed by the award winning Lewis Merthyr Band

Our Head Chef likes to keep things fresh with new starters created each week so there’s always something different to discover.

Today’s roasts include twelve-hour braised brisket, roasted rump of beef, slow-cooked lamb & roast chicken with braised carrots, Savoy cabbage and cauliflower gratin. Gluten-free variations available 🙏🏼

If you’re not a roast person try our Cwrw Otley ale-battered haddock, Bunch fish pie or Cashew, sweetcorn & chargrilled aubergine roulade for our vegan friends 🌱
