Ang 🩷 the Afueracano

Sold a few Afueracanos (it's actually an Aerocano but can't resist a play on words 😜) when I launched the drink on Tuesday, but Ang was my guinea pig by being the first to sample the latest addition to the afuera menu.

An Americano-style iced coffee, but with a Guinness-esque frothiness to it, it's perfect for the warm days that are on their way 🌞*.

Now loading⌛...The Afueracano.

This iced americano style drink is new to the afuera menu, and is my new absolute favourite.👇🏻

It's made by adding a freshly-poured double shot of Baristocracy Coffee Roasters espresso ☕, ice cubes 🧊 and water to a milk pitcher, steaming briefly to aerate the mixture, and then pouring over ice.

With a texture not dissimilar to a Guinness 🍀, this milk-free marvel is light, frothy, and absolutely flippin' delicious.

Available from Tuesday at the pink pod. 🩷

🚨 FREE COFFEE 🚨

Fundraisers taking on on Saturday can get a free or discounted coffee at the pink pod 🩷 when they're finished.

I'll be making up to 30 pay it forward coffees ☕ available to those who have given up their time (and energy!) to raise money for TVLB Search & Rescue, who carry out lifesaving work on our beautiful coastline.

Come wearing your event t-shirt to claim your complimentary caffeine 😎 (one cup per customer).

Once the 30 coffees are taken, I'll be offering a 15 percent discount to ANYONE who's taken part in the challenge, until I close around 2pm.

📌 afuera, by the main entrance to Northumberland Park on Tynemouth Road.
