❤️ What a weekend!

Our first weekend at Luigi’s Al Fresco has been amazing, and we just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and made it so special. Seeing you all enjoying our little corner of Italy means so much to us. 🇮🇹❤️

A special thank you to the Mayor for joining us to cut the ribbon and welcome us to Maldon High Street. It was lovely to celebrate this moment with you!

There’s been a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get here, and to finally have our doors open and welcome you all in has made it all worthwhile.

Thank you, Maldon, for such a lovely welcome. We’re only just getting started, and we can’t wait to see you all again! ✨

🍷 FIVE YEARS IN THE WAITING… A SPECIAL BOTTLE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION!

Five years ago, we gifted our friends at Luigi's a very special 3-litre Jeroboam of Barolo.

Little did we know they would treasure it for five years, waiting for just the right occasion to open it.

And on Thursday evening, that long-awaited occasion finally arrived.

After facing their share of challenges along the way, our friends have opened the doors to Luigi's Al Fresco in Maldon — the beginning of what we hope will be a wonderful new chapter.

Sometimes a bottle of w**e is much more than just w**e. It's a memory, a friendship and a celebration waiting to happen.

To Enzo, Giovanni, Emily and the whole team at Luigi's Al Fresco — we wish you every success in this exciting new chapter.

And above all, well done Enzo, Giovanni and Emily for never giving up. ❤️

YOUR LITTLE CORNER OF ITALY IS BACK! ❤️

We can finally say it… we have a date!

After months of hard work, dust, stress, excitement and a LOT of waiting, we are finally getting there.

Luigi’s will officially open its doors on Saturday 17th October! ✨

Before that, we’ll be doing two soft opening evenings on Thursday 15th & Friday 16th October, just to test everything out, get everyone settled and make sure we’re ready for you all.

These two evenings will be for our invited guests only, as we put everything to the test before opening properly.

We honestly cannot wait to welcome you into our new home and see all those familiar faces again.

It’s been a long wait, but we’re there now!

A little update from us .. ✨

We’ve been a little quiet on here, but trust us… we’ve been very busy behind the scenes! 👀

The new Luigi’s iscoming together, and we’re finally getting to the fun bit! Furniture is going in, lampshades are going up, and it’s starting to feel like Luigi’s more than ever!🤎

We know you’re all dying to know WHEN are you opening?! 😅 We’re just as excited to tell you, but bear with us a little longer while we get everything just right.

And whilst we’ve been busy here, our family back home in Calabria have been busy helping us pick chillies and a whole lot more! 🌶️😂

A little piece of Calabria always makes its way into Luigi’s. ❤️

And finally… we can say it..we’re opening in OCTOBER! ✨
