One more weekend 🤎

We’ve decided we’re not quite ready to say goodbye just yet…

We’ll be opening our doors for one final weekend at Luigi’s Al Fresco Maldon:

Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August — open all day.

So if you were hoping to squeeze in one last pizza, one last plate of pasta, and one last meal with us… this is your chance. 🇮🇹

The new Luigi's Al Fresco is coming soon - and we’ve popped back inside to see how the redevelopment is going ⏳

Their current restaurant on Market Hill will serve customers for the final time this Saturday, before a short break as the team focuses on getting their new High Street restaurant open

At present, it’s looking likely that Luigi’s will be opening around October time, although a date is yet to be agreed

Check out the fantastic new pizza oven, which will be part of a new ‘Pizza Bar’ where customers can pop in for a tasty homemade pizza for lunch or dinner

It’s been a busy one this week… 👀

One of the many jobs we’ve been working on is restoring these beautiful original windows.

A LOT of sanding, a little bit of patience and plenty of paint later… 🫒🤎

We’re so happy with how they’ve turned out — bringing a little more of the building’s character back to life.

And this is just one small part of everything happening behind the scenes at the new Luigi’s…

Slowly but surely, we’re bringing our vision to life. ✨

Maldon is moving… but Luigi’s isn’t going anywhere. 🤎

Our current Maldon restaurant will serve its final service on Saturday 22nd August, as we begin the exciting move into our brand-new home.

There’ll be a short pause while we complete the move, but don’t worry… Luigi’s at The Griffin in Danbury will be open as usual, ready to welcome you with all your favourites.

We’ve poured so much hard work, love and countless hours into our little restaurant over the years, and it has become so much more than just a place to eat. It’s been a huge part of our lives, and we’re incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through those doors and shared a moment with us. 🤎

But now, it’s time for a new chapter.

We’ll be sharing updates along the way as the new restaurant takes shape, so keep following along with us. We’re hoping to have an opening date to share with you very soon!
