🦷 Teeth… that’s the topic today! 😂

Phil went to the dentist today and came away with one question:

Are we in the wrong business?! 🤣

£240 per tooth to have two teeth removed… that’s £480 just to pull them out! 😳

And a 20-minute hygienist appointment? £110! In, out, clean teeth, £110 lighter! 😂

Safe to say, Phil nearly fell over before they even touched his teeth!

But enough about the dentist… let’s talk Prime Time! 🔥

We’ve had some fantastic guests in today, including visitors from Italy 🇮🇹 and Switzerland 🇨🇭 – we absolutely love welcoming people from all over the world to The Farmers Boy.

☀️ A little kindness goes a long way… ❤️

This morning, a nurse stopped by The Farmers Boy after finishing a night shift. She’d been working through the night, charging her car at our rapid chargers and popped in to use the loo.

Then she picked up a bag of salted peanuts and went to pay.

Phil’s response?

“You’re a nurse. You’ve just finished an all-nighter. You’re having those on us.” 🥜❤️

Just a small gesture, but sometimes the little things mean the most.

So, thank you to all the nurses, careers, emergency workers and everyone else working through the night while the rest of us sleep. We appreciate you. 👏

☀️ What really happens before the pub opens?

Think pubs don’t get busy until 11am or midday? Think again! 😄

Phil has been at The Farmers Boy since 7:30am, getting everything ready before the doors really get going.

☕ Breakfasts served
🐶 Dog bowls cleaned and ready
🌿 Outdoor areas checked
🚬 Ashtrays emptied
🌳 Hedges and wildlife considered
🍽️ Tables and everything inside checked

It’s all the little things you don’t see that make sure everything is ready when you arrive. That’s hospitality!

And being right on the A40, even the outside of the pub matters. First impressions start before you even walk through the door.

A huge good luck to our manager Martin and his partner, who are on their way to welcome their second child into the world. 👶💙
