Something different at Ellies...

For anyone who knows Sami you will know alongside making you all smile at the counter he has 2 passions in life. Fishing and Cars. And we believe firmly here that passions should be bought to life.

So we bring you 'CAFFEINE & GASOLINE' an existing classic car and bike meet at a new location...our little cafe.

Drive out to the lizard and meet up with like minded car enthusiasts over a cup of coffee and a bit of brekkie.

All welcome, car enthusiasts...long suffering partners of car enthusiasts and just anyone that's wants a bacon sandwich!

9am to 11.30am Sunday 14th June and all going well we will hold this once month.

What's on In June?

This month we have some fantastic local musicians playing for you at our alongside Sunset Supper. It's all about relaxing, and enjoying. Kicking off the month will be the very talented this Saturday June 6th.

Returning to us on Sat 13th June will be the brilliant aka Oli Fox with his epic guitar playing and soulfull country voice.

Then something totally new on Sunday 14th. We have Caffiene and Gasoline a Classic car and bike meet and greet, again chilled vibes and an opportunity to get out for a drive and end up at the Soul Kitchen for a bacon sandwich and a nice cup of coffee and a chat with fellow car enthusiasts. For any of you that know Sami, you will know he has 2 passions in life alongside making you smile at the counter...Fishing and Cars...this is his world!

21st June is Summer Solstice. And following the success of last year's Solstice gathering, Collette de giovanni will be back to host a night of music under the Summer Sun, ending with a good old fashioned campfire singsong which all are welcome to participate in. Bring instruments if you like and a log for the fire to burn away the winter blues and ignite the summer sun.

Then finishing up this month we have a really talented young local musician who we can't wait to hear live.

Delicious Dahl's.... With Chicken or Marinated lime courgettes. Coconut Sambal and Kashmiri Chilli Sauce. Everything is made from scratch.

Sunset Suppers are held every Friday and Saturday evening at the cafe from 5.30 to 7.30pm, often accompanied by live music. . (6 to 8pm)

The food is inspired by places I have travelled, creative and often with an element of fusion with our local culture and produce too.

No Booking is needed. Food is served from a pink caravan in a field, Dining is Alfresco or we have a hut Incase it's windy or rainy. It's a magical place, where people come to relax, unwind and absorb the natural elements around us.
