We're proud that The Fleece was awarded a Four Star Silver rating and an AA Dinner Award at our very first inspection this year.

To earn an AA Star rating, inspectors assess 46 separate aspects of a property, from hospitality to housekeeping - so it really is a whole team effort.

Our little shop showcases the incredible talent of local creatives, such as Liz Collinson's ceramics and hand-poured Forest of Bowland candles.

Every purchase helps keep skill and craftsmanship thriving right here in our community.

The evenings are drawing in, which means our two hand-built Lancashire sandstone fireplaces are back in proper use, just as they have been since this Grade II-listed inn was built in the 18th century.

Log fire, a local ale, and a building that's stood at this crossroads for the best part of 300 years.

Cosy season starts here.

Just finished a blustery walk on the fells?

There's a good reason to swing by the shop before you head home.

Sea Salted Caramel & Dark Chocolate Brownie, or an All-Butter Honey Flapjack - handmade and perfect with a coffee at the bar or wrapped up for the road.
