Thank you 🙏 everyone for being a part of our incredible journey - from those early days of just simply serving coffee, cake & ice cream soon developing at a much faster pace than planned as you all got 100% behind us! 😘

The highs & lows we have certainly been through - pandemics, cost of living crisis blah blah blah! 🤦‍♀️

We have 101% poured our hearts into making Hugo’s the place it is today & none of this would’ve been possible without our BRILLIANT teams & of course you our BRILLIANT customers 👍🏻

We’re very proud 😊 of what we’ve built, but we’re even prouder of the community & following that’s grown around us. 😍

It really is a difficult world right now & certainly a difficult economy for us all to navigate but being positive we are all working our way through this together 🤗

We typically recommend booking at least 3 months in advance of your party date, in order to select your date, time and character of choice.

Our calendar fills quickly, especially with some of our most popular characters!

We also recommend that you secure your booking with us before you book your venue. This might seem a little backwards, but once you’re in our calendar we can easily shift our location in our booking.

Some characters only have one performer who portrays them. If they are booked to attend another event before or after your requested time, they might not be able to attend your event because your window is already secure with the venue.

Hugo’s is hiring a Part-Time Kitchen Cook & Takeaway Market Developer for our Forton & Garstang locations.

This unique, hybrid role combines hands-on food preparation with entrepreneurial business growth to expand our local takeaway & delivery footprint.🍳

Your Responsibilities

👍🏻Cook & Prepare: Create high-quality cafe classics, breakfasts & light bites.

👍🏻Grow the Market: Expand & manage our takeaway ordering platforms (e.g. Just Eat)

👍🏻Maintain Standards: Ensure strict compliance with food safety & HACCP regulations.

👍🏻Innovate Menus: Develop travel-friendly menu items optimized for delivery.

Candidate Requirements:
👍🏻Proven experience as a commercial kitchen cook.
👍🏻Strong interest or background in hospitality marketing & sales growth.
👍🏻Valid food safety certification.
👍🏻Ability to travel reliably between Forton & Garstang & to carry out any deliveries as necessary.
