We’ve arrived this morning to find the bridge by The Water Witch has been closed off at both ends.

We haven’t had any notice or information yet, so we’re not sure who has closed it or how long it will be in place.

The good news is we are still open and accessible from the canal path leading down from South Road.

We’ll update as soon as we know more.

Are you passionate about great customer service, leading from the front, and creating memorable experiences for guests? We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team at The Waterwitch.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the pub
✅ Leading and motivating the team during busy shifts
✅ Delivering exceptional customer service
✅ Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance
✅ Handling cash, stock, and opening/closing procedures
✅ Helping drive sales and creating a great atmosphere for our guests
What We're Looking For:
⭐ Previous hospitality or supervisory experience preferred
⭐ A positive, can-do attitude
⭐ Strong leadership and communication skills
⭐ Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy event days
⭐ Passion for pubs, people, and great service
