Not seen in the sky for a fortnight, the Rock It Ship comes back to earth this weekend, for two gigs. Saturday at The Tap House in Lancaster, from 4.30. Sunday at The Old Bank in Morecambe, from 4. Don't stare directly at the band though, as you could do your eyes serious damage!

Denise Cooper returns to Beyond Radio on Thursday night!

Our former presenter, and lead singer of local band Silver Raven, is a guest of Nick Margerrison on The Unsigned Show, talking about her love of blues music.

Plus Kev Kendal, formerly of mod covers band Sound, chats about how a brush with the X Factor encouraged him to start playing guitar again.

And we meet Harry Worth who impressed Nick so much with his accordion playing, he needed to have a word.
