We served a variety of dishes from Thai curries & Chinese dishes to the traditional British favourites steak, Guinness and mushroom pie & Fish, chips and mushy peas. Everything is made fresh daily on site and comes with either chunky home made chips or baby new potatoes & Salad or Vegetables. We are a family run business and we strive to provide a family friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We have

held The Spotted Cow since July 2012 Since then Business has soared as word of mouth travelled. Our Sunday lunch is always a sell out with big portions of either Roast Topside of Beef, Leg of Pork, Leg of Lamb or Chicken Breast served with a delicious meaty gravy, Carrots, Cauliflower, Swede and Cabbage. Accompanied with Roasties & Mash and huge home-made Yorkshire puddings.

🌙 Welcome to The Spotted Cow Twilight Market! 🌙

We're so excited to finally be launching something we've wanted to do for a long time.

On the last Sunday of every month, we'll be opening our doors from 5pm–9pm for a relaxed evening celebrating everything local.

Expect a fantastic mix of traditional and alternative market stalls, all brought to you by talented local makers, bakers, crafters, artists and small businesses. Whether you're hunting for the perfect gift, treating yourself or just fancy a browse with a drink in hand, there'll be something for everyone.

With food and drinks available throughout the evening and a cosy atmosphere to enjoy, we hope this becomes more than just a market – we want it to become a regular evening out for our community.

Over the next few weeks we'll be introducing all of the amazing businesses joining us, so keep checking back as we Meet the Makers and count down to our very first Spotted Cow Twilight Market.

We can't wait to welcome you all on Sunday 30th August, 5pm–9pm.

We may be a little early, but we like to plan ahead 🤩 so we are going to talk about the 'C' word.....
Christmas! 🎄🎅

After the success of last year's festive events such as wreath making workshops and Santa Paws 🐾 we want to make the festive season for 2026 even bigger, better and busier!

So this year, here is our thoughts and we would love for you to tell us what you'd be interested in too!

🐾Santa paws will be back but bigger than before as we take over the entire pub and not just the bar, meaning it wont be quite as cramped and much better organised than last year!

💐Wreath making is a must! Again we will have multiple dates available and we will have separate evenings for artifical and wet wreaths!

🕯 Candle making workshops! This is a new 1 to us and cant wait to give it a go!

Other potential work shops include,
- stained glass art!
- Make your own christmas decorations!
- Pyrography workshops / burning designs into chopping boards or cheeseboard etc

We're so excited to be launching The Spotted Cow Twilight Market!

1st Market scheduled for 30th August 5pm -9pm (set up from 3.30pm) please share this so we can reach as many traders as possible xx

Our vision is to create a monthly Sunday evening market that's all about supporting local businesses and bringing the community together. A relaxed evening where people can browse unique stalls, enjoy food and drinks, and soak up a great atmosphere.

We're looking for a fantastic mix of stalls, including: 🛍️ Handmade gifts 🕯️ Candles & home fragrance 🧁 Cakes & sweet treats 💍 Jewellery 🎨 Art & crafts 🌿 Plants 🐶 Pet products 🧼 Soaps & skincare 🎁 Gifts ...and so much more!

This isn't just another market – we want to create an event that people look forward to every month. A place where the community can come together to discover and support amazing local makers and small businesses.

As a small, independent, family-run pub, we can't always match the huge offers the big chains can. Their buying power is on a completely different scale. But we'd still like to do our bit and help where we can.

🍽 Monday to Saturday: 12pm - 8pm
🍽 Sunday: 12pm - 3:30pm

Whether you're after a proper pub classic or something a bit different, there's plenty to choose from. From our tasty parmos and stacked burgers to mixed grills, loaded steaks and classic pub favourites, there's something for everyone.

Terrible we know, but we just had too 😅

Our Nachos are perfect for sharing over a few drinks or just for yourself if youre feeling snackish 🤩

Loaded with cheese, jalapeños, diced, cucumber, red onion & tomatoes, shredded lettuce and topped with tasty sauces 🥰

For a while there, we really thought it was ours... but it wasn't to be.

We go again, and hopefully the next Euros will be our time. 🏆
