IT'S TOMORROW - May's Forest Row Repair Cafe.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, our IT volunteers are unable to make it. If that changes we will share an update on Facebook.
Don't forget that we've launched a couple of new repair categories - welly repair (for splits and rips - please ensure wellies are clean) and a patching service for nylon tents and down jackets. Come along from 10am-1pm; last orders taken at 12.30pm.
Our fabulous volunteer team includes repairers for:
Bikes 🚲
Ceramic items⚱️
Clocks ⏰
Clothes👗🪡
Down jacket rips (less than 10cm)
Electrics 📻
Electronics 🎮
Small furniture items🪑(chairs, stools, small tables)
Sharpening ✂️ (we often have availability for sharpening, so bring your blunt knives, scissors and gardening tools; there is a limit of six items per person, unless we're not busy)
Tent rips and tears (less than 10cm)⛺
Welly rips and tears
Wetsuits and neoprene rips 🏄
We will have our delicious café open with reasonably priced cakes and refreshments while you wait. We look forward to seeing you.
Community Centre, Forest Row, RH18 5DZ.
Please remember we are often really busy at the beginning of the session, so if you can arrive a little later, that should save you waiting as long. Also, we are sorry to say that it's not possible to bring dogs into the Repair Cafe.
The Forest Row Repair Cafe aims to help reduce waste by encouraging a repair culture in our community. A repair can save time, money and waste.
We are open on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Community Centre, Hartfield Road, Forest Row, RH18 5DZ.
