Just as we start the busiest time of the trading and event season, the SCAMMERS are out again.
This morning, I was messaged by a lovely lady called Lisa, who checked whether the lady called Mutia Jacobs worked for us.
SHE DOES NOT
We do not operate on Messenger. We will never TEXT you. We never ask for your bank details or for money over the phone or by any other means.
Lisa's quick action today saved many traders money, as Mutia Jacobs had been busy asking them to send money to secure a trading pitch at an event. They are getting busy scamming anyone who will listen and some people will pay.
THIS IS A REMINDER that the threat of scams is very real, and no matter what we do to try to stop them, they just keep trying.
ALWAYS wait for an email from an authenticated email address. Always head to our website to book with us. Always ask for Nicola, Mark, Winnie or Mikey - these are the ONLY names that will ever contact you from Little Hummingbird Events.
This is getting a bit stupid now, and I fear that those who may be more gullible or not as quick to check things out will be scammed.
Money is tight enough in the world right now, without these lazy ass good-for-nothing t***s.
