☕🍰 The Cosy Cow is taking a little coffee break! 🍰☕

From Saturday 13th June at 3pm, we’ll be closing our doors for a short while and will be back, refreshed and ready to serve you, on Tuesday 23rd June.

Why are we closing? Well, while some essential building work is taking place behind the scenes, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to give The Cosy Cow a well-deserved Glow Up! ✨

Think of it as our favourite coffee and cake recipe:

☕ A shot of fresh ideas
🍰 A generous helping of TLC
✨ And a sprinkle of Cosy Cow magic!

When we reopen, you’ll find the same warm welcome, delicious coffee and tempting cakes you love, with a fresh new look inside and out.

We offer a range of coffees to suit everyone and our suppliers are The Heavenly Coffee Company We use the Supremo range and our Americano starts at just £3.00. We are one of the cheapest coffee shops in Driffield, serving up a coffee that delivers you a quality flavour and hits the spot! We also have decaffeinated available.

A clean, vibrant espresso blend with bright fruit notes and refreshing citrus acidity, balanced by a smooth medium body and satisfying depth. Heavenly Supremo Blend delivers a lively yet well-rounded cup, combining clarity of flavour with a strong, structured finish.

Sourced from Kenya and Latin America, this medium-dark roast offers the perfect balance between brightness and body!

Meet the Team: part 3

Baker/cook: Claire

Claire has been with us since we opened and many will know that she was also the main lady in the kitchen in the previous Molly & Jean, so altogether Claire has been in our little kitchen for nearly 8 years!!!!!

All the cakes, scones and traybakes are all baked by Claire in The Cosy Cow. Claire is key to what we offer front of house and every day we get another lovely comment about her scones or cakes.

Along with her baking skills, she also provides your breakfasts and lunches, she has no help what so ever, she’s a ‘lone worker’. Claire’s most favourite item to cook is poached eggs…… said no body ever, but she does the best poached eggs and her scrambled eggs are one of the best around!

Claire is an integral part of The Cosy Cow, her work ethic cannot be matched by anyone I know. Claire is calm, conscientious, blooming hard working (nearly as much as me) devoted and the kindest sole.

Hobbies: walking Pip her dog and baking/cooking for her family, camping 🏕️
