The legendary Mr Mike Hartley would like to raise a glass and extend his heartfelt thanks for all the wonderfully generous birthday gifts and treats you've showered upon him.As part of the celebrations, Mike is about to embark on a truly out of Middleton experience, leaving the pub in safe, trusted hands while he enjoys being thoroughly spoiled rotten, as any birthday legend should.Now, onto the bad news. Sadly, there's no easy way to dress this one up... the much-loved Early Eats pizza treats will not be happening this week. Our resident Pizza Ninja has hung up his paddle temporarily and is taking some well-earned rest and relaxation.We know it's a tough crust to swallow, and we apologise for any disappointment. Normal pizza-powered service will resume after Mike has recharged his batteries and finished living his best birthday life.

Mike has officially levelled up to 70, which is wild considering he still works like he’s being paid per calorie burned. Last night we feasted on Best Served Cold and a magnificant charcuterie board.
