🎃 **RIGHT, I NEED AN UPDATE ON THE HALLOWEEN OUTFITS!** 👀

We've got TWO DAYS until Halloween Rocks, and I need to know what stage of preparation we're all at.

Because I know fine well we've got four very different groups of people heading into Saturday...

💀 **Group 1:** Outfit bought, delivered, tried on, accessories sorted. Probably hanging up somewhere ready to go.

📦 **Group 2:** Currently refreshing Amazon every 20 minutes, praying that next-day delivery actually means next-day delivery.

🕸️ **Group 3:** Digging through a bag in the loft, hoping last year's costume still fits and nobody remembers wearing it.

👰 **Group 4:** Has been planning this since approximately February. More research, preparation and money has gone into this outfit than most people put into their actual wedding.

And it's Group 4 I'm particularly concerned about. 😂

Because there's a **£25 bar tab** up for grabs for best dressed at Halloween Rocks, and I genuinely think some of you are prepared to spend ten times that just to win it.

Although I'm still more excited about presenting the second- and third-place prizes. I've got some truly awful ideas, and nobody seems particularly interested in stopping me.

And if you're in Group 4, I want to know how long you've ACTUALLY been planning this. I'm fascinated. 😂

🎃 RIGHT. FRIDAY'S HALLOWEEN OUTFIT CHECK.

We're officially at the point where your costume is either sorted or you're about to make some very desperate decisions.

Some of you will have everything hanging up ready, right down to the last accessory.

Some of you are currently praying to the Amazon delivery gods.

And somebody, somewhere, is convincing themselves that a black bin bag and a bit of eyeliner will do the job. 😂

Well, you've got until tomorrow night to sort yourselves out.

Captain Jack is in charge of picking the winner, and you need to be in the Lounge at **11:30pm**.

Now, I'm not suggesting you need to spend a fortune. Some of the best costumes I've seen have cost next to nothing.

But I am suggesting that if your entire outfit consists of a pair of plastic fangs, you might want to rethink your strategy.

Our K-Pop Demon Hunters Halloween Party has moved one door up to The Turf!

Same date, same time, same party - just a different dancefloor! 🪩

All tickets are still valid, so there’s nothing you need to do.

We never thought we’d see the day The Turf hosted a kids’ K-Pop party, but here we are! 😂

We're only a few days in, and I suspect some of you have already contemplated changing your name, moving house and starting a completely new life somewhere nobody knows you.

You've probably been asked for a snack 47 times before breakfast, broken up six arguments, and questioned several of the decisions that led you to becoming responsible for these small humans.

All before 6:43am.

🎃 Right, I need to know how many of you have been treating October like it's an entire personality trait.

Because some people celebrate Halloween for a night.

Others have been watching horror films since September, have decorated every room in the house and have spent more on their outfit than they did on their last holiday. 😂

And I know we've got plenty of the second lot around Consett.

So for those of you heading out on Friday, we've got a little something for you.

🎪🤘 **THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO THE LAIR!** 🤘🎪

Right, I think it's about time we discussed exactly what I've got planned for Saturday...

Captain Jack has very kindly handed over the keys to his Karaoke Shack, and I'm starting to suspect he has absolutely no idea what he's agreed to. 😂

I've got the top hat, I've got the microphone, and I've got an entire Lounge full of people to get under control.

Although, having met most of you, I'm not holding out much hope for that last part.

**I'm your ringmistress, you're my circus, and we're all going straight down the Highway to Hell!** 🔥

And let's be clear, Saturday belongs to the alt crowd. 🖤

The rockers, the emos, the goths, the metalheads and everyone who's never quite fitted into the usual Saturday night scene.

Basically, all the cool people are going to be in the Lounge. Obviously. 😂

I want big personalities, ridiculous costumes, dramatic performances and people singing with the confidence of someone who's just sold out Wembley, despite sounding like a cat being dragged backwards through a hedge.

And don't think sitting quietly in the corner makes you safe. I've got a microphone and a very good view of the room. 👀

Now, let's talk about the fancy dress competition...
