It might seem a little early, but Christmas is already starting to get very busy here at The Bluebell! 🎅🎄

Our Christmas Fayre Menu starts from 1st December and bookings are already filling up fast! 🍽️✨

Unfortunately, we had an individual in the pub last night whose behaviour became completely unacceptable, including interfering with other customers’ food and drinks and causing a nuisance to both customers and our staff.

Our team acted immediately. He was asked to leave, the police were contacted, and he has now been permanently barred from The Blue Bell.

We’re extremely proud of the friendly, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere we have at The Blue Bell and incidents like this are thankfully very rare.

We will not tolerate behaviour that spoils other people’s evening or makes our customers or staff feel uncomfortable.

To everyone who was in the pub last night, thank you for your patience and understanding — and particularly to our staff for dealing with the situation quickly and professionally.

The Blue Bell remains exactly what we want it to be — a great local pub where everyone is welcome, providing they respect the people around them.

Our favourite current special! 😋

The carnivore platter - Cumberland sausage, spicy wings, half rack of ribs, beef chilli, corn on the cob, onion rings, garlic bread and a choice of pulled pork topped fries or jacket potato!

All this for £20.95, so come and see if you can defeat the whole thing!

We did things slight different this time with driver interviews, awards for cars ‘best in catergory’ and our young rider of the day award!

Best in show : Ford Es**rt (that has completed 2 x RAC rallies!)

Cleanest future classic : Ford focus RS MK I

Classic supercars : joint winners Ferrari 348 and Lotus Esprit Turbo

Motor powerful modified car : Nissan GTR

Best classic hot hatch : Sierra Cosworth

Best modern hot hatch : Subaru Impreza

And some lovely Porsches with owner interviews and much more.
