Today, we celebrate the men who show up.
The fathers.
The stepdads.
The dads.
The papas.
The grandads and gramps.
The uncles who stepped in.
The father figures who chose to care.
The mentors, guides, protectors and storytellers.
The ones who taught us how to ride a bike, tie a tie, cast a fishing line, change a tyre, or simply keep going when life got tough.
Some are loud with laughter.
Some are quiet with wisdom.
Some share our name.
Some share only their time and love.
Fatherhood isn't always measured by blood, but by presence.
By the steady hand on a shoulder.
The reassuring voice at the end of the phone.
The sacrifices made without applause.
The lessons that stay with us long after the words are spoken.
Today, we raise a glass to all those who have helped shape lives, build families and create memories.
And for those remembering a father, grandfather or father figure who is no longer here, may their love continue to live on in the stories you tell and the lives they've touched.
Happy Father's Day to every father figure in all their forms.
Your impact reaches further than you know. ❤️
