Another week gone by and it’s a wrap xx what a busy one that was and a massive thank you for all our new customers who paid us a visit this week . Over 100 people whom we have never met before from all over the country . Furthest this week was Hampshire and Norfolk … so lovely to meet you …. Gluten free fruit cake was a hit . All gone twice over …. Scones scones and more scones to now eat with us and now buying to take home . I’m very blessed to have the regular customers return . Especially the cyclists which one of the special ones graces us with his piano playing … truly amazing ….
This week ahead we will be CLOSED on Thursday as I have a close friends funeral and need to pay my respect to my wonderful friend … so will be open Wednesday . Friday Saturday Sunday this week . Thank you everyone of you for your continued support xx

13 more followers to go and we hit our 1k …. Not bad as it’s still not our first anniversary till next month …. You make our days so happy …. We have some giggles in that tea room and this is one of our weekly characters … we love his visits and his cheekiness …. He has his lunch then goes for a rest …. He can tell us some stories … Bless him … looking forward to a busy weekend … we may have showers but the sun will be shining down on you at some point ….

All set for this weeks start to the World Cup …. Competition starts …. Weather should be a bit better so you can all enjoy a brew with a view on the balcony …. At least all the rain has made the flowers bloom xx all set for another glorious week …. We’ve put a bookcase in as lots of you come to sit and read …. You can do a book swap and take the book home that your reading ….. lots of people enjoy some quiet time with a coffee and a tea cake xx

This week sees the opening of the football World Cup . Our tea room will be adorning the England flags in support of our nation .However there are 48 teams playing so we are going to be holding a competition to draw your country out of a hat for £5 a ticket . Prizes for first second and third will be £50 , £30, £20 and the rest will be donated to our charity of the year the Heather Hopper bus which takes our community all over to different places . First 48 people can take part . Tickets on sale from Wednesday …. This is going to cause some rivalry amongst you all and some giggles along the way xx
