There are SO many exciting things happening behind the scenes in the café at the minute that we really want to tell you about… but can’t quite yet 👀😂💕

Which is why we’ve been a little quieter on socials lately! We promise we’re still here, still slinging 2025’s best coffee and hopefully 2026’s too 🤞🏼☕️ Open 9am–4pm, 7 days a week as always 💕

One thing we can shout about is that we’re still proudly raising money for the incredible The Happy Mums Foundation 💛

They’re such an important local charity and do so much for so many people, so if you’re in the café you can support them by picking up one of the handmade crochet bits or even just chucking a bit of loose change in the collection tub — every little really does help 🥹💕

We’re very proud to keep supporting them however we can 💛

New season means new specials 🎃👻

We’re heading into one of our favourite times of year in the café… spooky cosy season 🥹🍂☕️

We’ve got some new seasonal drinks joining the boards, including Banana Bread Iced Latte/Matcha, Iced Brown Sugar Espresso with Oat Milk and of course Pumpkin Spice Latte 🎃✨

And because the colder weather is definitely creeping in, our blankets are officially back out too 💕 Just ask one of us when you’re ordering and we’ll grab you one!

Tomorrow is her last day before she departs back to university where we wish her the best in semester 1 of her second year back in Scotland. We can’t wait for her to rejoin us over the christmas period and hopefully you can all pop by to see her and enjoy her coffees as much as we do 💗

We’re so sorry to say that we’ve had to close the café today 😢💕

Unfortunately, after ongoing power cuts throughout the night and again today, we’re unable to open safely 😔

We’re really hoping everything is resolved today so we can restock, reset and be back open as normal tomorrow! 🤞🏼☕️

A huge thank you to everyone who’s already tried to pop in today and has been so lovely and understanding — we really appreciate you 💕

There are always new books being added, so it’s definitely worth having a little nosey next time you’re in the café 👀✨

It’s completely free to use — if you spot a book you fancy, you’re more than welcome to take it! All we ask is that if you’ve got any books at home that no longer spark joy, bring them along next time and pop them on the shelf for someone else to discover 😁

And if your TBR pile is already slightly out of control but you still want to join in… you can always pop a little donation into one of our charity boxes instead 🤭💕

Coffee + books + a little community swap shelf = basically our dream combo ☕📖🐾
