Not every coffee starts with coffee.

Sometimes it starts with a conversation.

One from Buxton. One from Sheffield. Different journeys, different stories, somehow ending up at the same table.

That’s the bit we love most about RASA. The drinks are just the excuse. The people are the reason.

⚠️⚠️LONG CAPTIONS ⚠️⚠️

Summer called in sick this year.” ☔️

It’s June, and somehow we’re still reaching for jumpers instead of sunglasses.

But coffee seasons don’t wait for the weather.

Our Chandra Roast has quietly moved into its new harvest. Same coffee. Same Central American roots. Same comforting chocolate character. But a new crop always brings small changes with it.

Coffee is a seasonal product, much like wine. Every harvest reflects the year it was grown. Rainfall, temperature, altitude, soil conditions, all leave their fingerprint on the bean. Even when the origin stays the same, the cup never tells exactly the same story twice.

This year’s Chandra is showing a little more of itself.

🌰 Hazelnut

Still familiar. Still comforting. Just a few new chapters in the same book.

So while we’re all waiting for the British summer to make an appearance, at least one new season has already arrived.

When we opened our second home in Sheffield a month ago, we thought we’d be serving coffee☕️

But over the last 30 days, we’ve realised we’re serving something much bigger🤗

A catch-up after a long week.
A first date.
A familiar hand reaching for the same drink.
A quiet conversation no one else hears.

Every day, from behind these windows, we’ve watched strangers become regulars and ordinary moments become memories🫠

One month in Sheffield.
Thousands of coffees.
Countless little stories.
And we’re just getting started. 🤎
