The Trackside, a historic pub situated in the heart of Bury, offering a selection of great food, craft ales, and views of the East Lancs Railway!

You are guaranteed to work up an appetite on your day out at the railway and we would hate to see you leave hungry. Whether you are visiting with your family, friends or colleagues, we offer plenty of places to eat and drink along the line. Situated on Platform 2 and set against the unique backdrop of Bury Bolton Street Station, The Trackside provides a selection of up to 12 real ales as well as award winning ciders and perries.

I’m sorry to inform that even with all of our best effort, the Trackside Pub will not be serving food today. We had engineers come out yesterday to try resolve the issue and there have been some further complications with our dishwasher and the plumbing involved. Apologies from the team for any inconvenience this has caused.

Halloween is just a couple days away and the celebrations have already started, including our staff looking extra spooky for the next couple days! Keep an eye out to see the other costumes they bring to the table, or should we say bar? 💀👻🎃

Now we’re getting into the colder months we’d like to introduce our second cask stout line!!!
This will mean we will always have at least 2 cask stout’s/porter’s for you guys to chose from every day!!!
Currently featuring the original Coley’s stout and a soft oat meal stout from Craven Brew.

This Monday and Tuesday (26th and 27th Oct) we will be open from 12pm until 8pm for the half term week. Our opening times for the rest of the week are:
Wed 10am until 10pm
Thurs 10am until 11pm
Fri & Sat 10am until 11:30pm
Sun 10am until 8pm
Food service will be from Wed to Sun, 10am until 4pm.
