We are a dog friendly, traditional pub that's ideal for that homemade meal you're craving for. Our bar has a selection of JW Lees cask ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Keeping with our traditional theme, we also offer a wide variety of locally sourced, traditional home-cook food that is available in both our bar and restaurant areas, and is served Mon-Sat 12-8.30pm & Sun 12-7pm. We are open f

or brunch Mon-Fri from 9am-11.30am and Sat from 10am-11.30am

We also offer afternoon tea Monday to Saturday 2.30pm-5.30pm (with 24hr notice)

We have 8 en-suite rooms offering Freeview tv, tea & coffee making facilities and hair dryers. A delicious full English breakfast can be included in the price to start your day off right.

These two are the most dedicated people I know 🥰 to be doing all these running events to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK 🩵 👏🏼

Sal & Katie are running The Great North Run on Sunday 13th September, another 13.1miles 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

I'm sure we all know someone affected in some way, by cancer, by giving just £1 it will make such a difference to the research that could be available.
