Yesterday was one of the hardest days we’ve had here. We’re heartbroken to say that our friend and colleague Trevor George sadly passed away. Trev was more than just staff, he was part of the family, a true friend, and someone who brought his own character and laughs into every shift. He’ll be missed more than words can say.

We want to say how proud we are of our team for pulling together through such a tough day. It wasn’t easy, but it showed the real strength of our little pub family.

Please keep Trev’s family and friends in your thoughts during this heartbreaking time. Rest easy Trev 💙 you’ll never be forgotten.💔

What a week it’s been! We’re absolutely buzzing after the success of our Karen’s Bar Week fundraiser – and it’s all thanks to YOU.

From asking everyone (yes, everyone) for ID, to chaotic timed races, impromptu dance-offs, and the kind of banter that only a Karen-themed bar could deliver… it was non-stop fun from start to finish!

A massive shout-out to all our customers and staff, who threw themselves into the madness and helped make it such a memorable week. Your support, laughter, and generosity made all the difference – and every penny raised is going straight to Nigel Powell fundraiser for Wales air ambulance, all in memory of our Stephen Parker 🏍💫❤️

Total raised £1,111.21

This kicks off next week, all proceeds go towards Nigel Powell fundraising day in aid of WELSH AIR ABULANCE.

Last years 'Karen's bar' raised £380 for the children in our community, it was a great week enjoyed by all so we decided to do it again!

There will be a bucket on the bar for collection for the whole week, every little bit helps 😁🤞

We really appreciate your support, and look forward to you calling in 🤣

Something wild is coming to the pub… and we mean WILD!

Tonight, we’re bringing in a LIVE petting zoo featuring:
✅ A rare Welsh dragon (don’t get too close!)
✅ A 6-foot-tall guinea pig (yes, you read that right)
✅ A sheep that can pour pints (he’s better than our staff)

🐾 Free entry! But please, NO feeding the dragon.

For your information, if your intending on coming here on a friday or saturday evening, you must have your OWN ID, Anyone without ID will not be allowed to stay and will be asked to leave. Anyone using FAKE or SOMEONE elses ID will have it confiscated and it will be taken to the police station for you to collect!
This is due to passed incidents where people have taken advantage when being allowed to stay with a 'responsible' adult on the weekend!

This isn't a new thing, we've gone by this for the passed 2 years and would appreciate your cooperation! Please bring your ID because if we ask you for ID and you haven't got it, you will be asked to leave, even if your 28 or your mother insists your 18 because she gave birth to you! I'm fed up with my bar staff getting grief when they are doing their jobs!
