Life Drawing @ Pantri Lolfa

On the last Monday of every Month. 7pm-9pm.
Coming up:- 29TH JUNE ✨

We’re welcoming you into our cosy little Pantri Lolfa to draw from the figure. Some materials available, but we recommend bringing what you’d like to use. While the session is unguided, some gentle guidance can be shared — and we encourage everyone to exchange ideas and techniques, in a supportive atmosphere.

Open to all — whether it’s your first time picking up a pencil or you’re well-practiced in observational drawing, you’re very welcome to join us ✨

MAKING PICTURES is an exhibition by a group of artists who meet monthly in Burry Port under the tutorship of artist Louise Burston. They study all aspects of drawing, tone and colour and cover mainly landscape and still life as their subject matter.

SUNDAYRUN : TO THE SEA
Our next Run Club lands on Sunday 7th of June. 9am.

We’ve invited our good friend, Birthday sharer and Full-time Cat Man Will of fame to compose his ideal run playlist.

Will enjoys loooooong songs. Maybe it’s a meditative tattoo thing…who knows, anyhow this playlist is set to be a gnarling journey of spacey stoner prog! Our bodies may well transcend to another dimension!!

We will once again be venturing out on the run to via the coastal and canal paths and back to Lolfá, the distance is roughly 5km. If you like the sound of it and fancy joining, the Run starts from at 9am on Sunday. It will be leisurely, not a race, more a couch to 5k pace, we will have a little pit stop at Pantri to check in, hydrate, and then make our way back to Lolfa for a Dip in the sea and a coffee and Brunch afterwards.

**What’s this all about you may ask??**

Well, Running for me has been an escape, a cerebral e***a of sorts. It brings me clarity and focus, all of which keeps my mental health in check. As many of you know, I’m pretty obsessed with Music, and I always run with my headphones on. Each month I will curate a playlist or even obsess over a new or old album I’ve discovered and we can listen to that whilst we run, and of course when we finish, we can grab a or coffee and review the music choice. A kind of Best of both. For me anyway.
This is an opportunity to start running at your own pace, be part of a music loving community and put one foot in front of the other to maintaining our mental health.
