Well, the England Men's Football team may have disappointed tonight, but it was great to hear from our customers that The Rising Sun Bream didn't. Thank you to everyone who came along to endure the game with us.

We "go again" on Saturday when England play Panama at 22.00 and we have a full day lined up for you:

14.00 - Barbarians v Wales Rugby
15.00 - Austrian Grand Prix Qualifying
17.00 - FAN ZONE with Fifa, Sweepstakes, Drinks Offers and more

Never a quiet day or week at The Rising Sun Bream - especially now that the World Cup is on!

Tuesday 23 June is our Quiz night but it also when England play their second match of the World Cup. We have listened to everyone who usually takes part in the quiz, and those who want to watch the football and have come up with an ace plan that we hope will suit everyone.

So, in a change to our usual format, verbal question rounds 1 and 2, along with the music round will take place from 8.00pm. England kick off at 9.00pm and this is when we will hand out the Anagrams, regular "hand out round" and written questions to Rounds 3 and 4.

Please swap your answer sheets for the verbal questions and the music round with another team before half time because at Half time we will give you the answers to the verbal question rounds and the music round.

After the conclusion of the match please swap your printed question sheets with another team and we will give you the answers to the printed rounds and total up the scores to let you know who won!

We will NOT be charging for the quiz this time out but will bring round a collection pot when handing out the answers sheets etc. We would love it if you would like to contribute as everything we raise will go to Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

Introducing The Rising Sun Bream Summer Soirees! Starting on the first Sunday in July from 4pm to 6pm we will be hosting our very own version of an English Summer Garden Party with Brass Bands, Choirs, Ukeleles and more.

We will also be serving Cream Teas, Cakes, Spritzers, Prosecco and Pimms along with our usual offerings.

WOW!!! What a weekend that was! Thank you all so much for joining Pete and Kris for our 2 year anniversary Cider Festival. Fair play, you all loved it didn't you???

So did we! So much so, we are going to roll with our Festival Ciders throughout the month of June to celebrate our anniversary. They will be available all day, every day whilst we are open until all the stocks run out. Don't forget to let us know which ones you would like to see back as a guest cider too!!

And to follow up, as it would have been too much for one post , we are OVER THE MOON to inform you all that we have managed to secure the AMAZING Maple Rock Band who did such a great job keeping us all entertained Saturday, for NEW YEAR’S EVE!!!

We go again Sunday with all of our 30+ plus ciders available and BBQ food served from 12.30 to 6.30pm plus we are SO excited to have Bream Silver Band playing from 4pm to 6pm.
