📢 Important Update from The Coffee Shop

We’re excited to announce that The Coffee Shop is now under new management! ☕✨

As part of this exciting new chapter, the shop will be temporarily closed while we refresh and renovate the space to create an even better experience for our customers.

We appreciate your patience and support during this time and can’t wait to welcome you back soon with a fresh new look and plenty of great coffee!

📢 Booking Cancellation Notice

Following our previous post, we have two group bookings that unfortunately need to be cancelled, but we do not have any contact details for the organisers.

• Monday 22nd June – 10:00 a.m. – Table for 10 people (under the name Keith)

• Tuesday 23rd June – 1:30 p.m. – Table for 4 people (could be under the name Daphne)

If you made either of these bookings, or know the person who did, please contact the coffee shop as soon as possible on 01594 563800.

Dear loyal customers,

I would like to let everyone know that the coffee shop will be closed from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th June inclusive.

For those of you who may not be aware, I am now in the final stages of the sale of the coffee shop. Following the completion of the sale next weekend, Stanley will be taking over and beginning this exciting new chapter.

This short closure period will allow Stanley time to prepare and reset the shop ahead of reopening on Thursday 25th June.

Thank you all for your continued support, loyalty, and friendship over the years. It has truly meant a great deal, and I know you'll give Stanley a warm welcome as he takes over the coffee shop.

Good morning, everyone!

Even though the weather has cooled down somewhat, it's still extremely pleasant, so we're keeping the salads on the menu.

Let's see what the specials are this week:

🍗 Southern Fried Chicken or Ham Salad
🐟 Fish Finger Sandwich
🌱 Vegan Chilli

Simon the chef is also preparing a homemade chilli, which will be available from Tuesday, 2nd June. It can be enjoyed as a delicious jacket potato topping or served with rice.

With the temperatures a little more comfortable and plenty of seating available, we look forward to welcoming and serving you all.

It’s been an extremely hot day today, and sometimes in hospitality that means things can go a little quieter — and that’s exactly what’s happened this afternoon.

As it’s now 3pm and the heat is becoming quite unbearable for our staff, we’ve decided to close early today.

We’ll be back open on Thursday from 9am, hopefully with a much breezier atmosphere for everyone!

Enjoy the sunshine, stay cool, and we hope to see you then ☀️

🌞 It’s set to be a really hot one today, so why not cool down with us at the coffee shop! Our ground floor stays lovely and cool, and we’ve also got the garden all set up with plenty of shaded outdoor seating. ☕🌿
