It's been the hardest year of my life, but until today I've managed to keep my s**t together. This has utterly broken me.

Thank you each and everyone of you, honestly Fikä is my escape too, I'm just so glad so many of you call it home 🖤 thank you for being the weirdest but ultimately my favourite employee that is not a dog.

🎄 Christmas Day at Fikä — Year 5 🎄
You beautifulcreatures, it's been a bit of a shakey year for us here at Fikä. My health has been questionable and I really wasn't sure if I'd be able to host this again. But, in our first year we accidentally started a tradition and I've never really been good at saying no.

-Five years ago, I decided to open our doors on Christmas Day. Thinking we’d serve a handful of coffees to a few familiar faces and the odd person with nowhere else to be. We had no idea it would grow into the busiest day of our entire year and one of the most beautiful of occasions.

We open for our regulars and
for those who don’t have a place to go.
For anyone who just needs a warm drink, a familiar face, or a bit of comfort on the day.. You will always be welcome at Fikä every December 25th. Collective kindly let me steal the rest of the building for the day so we have plenty of room, no need to book just show up on the day =]

This year, Tom from Mysa will be back with us once again, hosting Christmas at Fikä on Westover Road from 9am–2pm.
Yes… the cinnamon buns will be there 🖤
If you’re on your own, passing through, or just keeping the tradition alive with us - the door will be open, the coffee will be hot, and the cake counter will be full stocked.

Yes, Waffle will also be here on the day, it'll be his first Christmas with us and he reminds you that all 4 legged friends are not just welcome, but very much encouraged. 🐾
