The Kitchen Garden Café is an eco-friendly oasis in the heart of Birmingham offering some fantastic, wholesome and tasty food, which is all sourced locally, and where possible organic. You can relax in the spacious indoor area, or enjoy some peace and quiet in our courtyard seating area, whilst enjoying a refreshing cold drink or Fairtrade tea, coffee or hot chocolate. We have a special play area for children and free Wi-Fi Internet access for all. We have a shop which provides high quality food products, as well as beautiful flowers, vegetable plants, useful and unusual gifts made by local and independent artists. The Cafe hosts a number of creative workshops like sewing, painting, pottery, calligraphy, and gardening taught by experienced tutors who love what they do. Our Cafe is also a private function venue in the evenings for Weddings, Parties and Corporate Functions. Picture your dream wedding day at a quirky, family friendly venue.

🌟We are looking to partner with established food businesses or experienced Chefs for a series of food pop-ups at Fletchers Bar in Birmingham
Fletchers is a very popular bar in South Birmingham. We are always really busy organising music, gigs, parties, weddings, and lots of other events and we just don’t have time to run the food too!

We run our pop ups from either Thursday/Friday - Sunday with the guideline timings as follows:
Thursday: 5pm-9pm
Friday: 5pm-9pm
Saturday: 12pm-9pm
Sunday:12pm-9pm

Ireland meets Sweden for a melting pot of traditional music from both cultures

Together these two artists offer a unique musical journey taking in the cultures of their two native countries.

Andy Irvine is one of the great Irish singers, his voice one of a handful of truly great ones that gets to the very soul of Ireland. He has been hailed as “a tradition in himself.”

The Swedish band Quilty is a highly renowned interpreter of traditional Irish music and is considered the foremost band of the Irish folk music scene in Scandinavia. In 2020 Quilty was nominated for Band of the Year at the national Folk & World Music Gala event.

In 2023 Quilty invited Andy Irvine to join the band on a tour of Sweden celebrating Quilty’s 30th anniversary. The highly acclaimed mutual tour was a great success with 13 concerts at sold out venues and sparked the idea for future collaborations with Andy Irvine.
